Solvent Resistance + Fluid Contamination

Solvent resistance and Fluid Contamination testing is used to determine the suitability of materials and products to withstand the solvents and chemicals in your operating environments. 

This facility enables Abtest to meet most Defence (DEF STAN,MIL), Avionic (RTCA), Automotive, telecommunication, consumer and many market sectors’ test specifications. 

Testing can be performed to a number of different test methods including:

  • Immersion                                                       
  • Spray                                                 
  • Wipe On                                                         
  • Occasional Splash                                                     

Testing can be performed at normal room ambient and also over a temperature range of -40ºC to +150ºC. Solvents and fluids are held in stock or can be obtained and cover a wide range of applications:

  • Fuels                                                  
  • Cleaning Fluids and Solvents                                                 
  • De-Icing Fluids and Antifreeze                                                           
  • Insecticides and Insect Repellents                                                     
  • Disinfectants
